Do you need a technical SEO checklist?

Many marketers will have seen a technical SEO checklist in their time. Any time a site migration is approaching or a technical audit is scheduled, a checklist tends to appear. If you want your content to stand out from the glut of online content and attract the kind of shares and links that boost search rankings, you’ve got to create epic content or “10X Content”. If you hear any of these terms from your SEO advisor, run away from them as quickly as you can. I do not think Google title and H1 tags need to exactly be the same. They need to serve the same objective not to confuse the audience of that website, but they need not be identical. The pages have to create unique enough value that they can be distinguished from other similar pages by the search engines. Lacking that intrinsic value, they will have to be distinguished by inbound linkage. Auditing an existing site is one of the most important tasks that SEO professionals encounter.
